Good News! I’m starting a new project called The Real Heroes of Martial Arts, which will be on my Youtube channel (follow the link to subscribe). For the first episode, I went to Taizhou in Zhejiang province to look at the generals Qi Jiguang and Yu Dayou and discuss their relevance to martial arts. We all know of the Great Wall, its one of the most visited places in China, but Taizhou has its own mini Great Wall built by Qi Jiguang himself in the Ming Dynasty to defend the area from Wokou, or Japanese pirates.
